About

After graduating with a BA(Hons) degree in Architecture from Manchester Polytechnic I spent two years working for architects in Hong Kong. I returned to the U.K. to attend Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL, where I completed my DipArch and RIBA Part 3 at the Bartlett School of Architecture. The following four years were spent working as an architect at practices in Berlin and London, after which I spent a year at the helm of the 3D team for a dot-com company specialising in 3D furniture. In 2001 I set up Lightwell Visualisation Ltd, providing design, illustration and animation services to the design industry. In late 2004 I was approached by BBC News to prepare new studio backdrops for the main BBC One news bulletins.  From this point onward, I began to specialise in providing design services to television.

My virtual sets and set extension designs can currently be seen on:

ITV News
Sky Sports News
Sky Sports F1 Channel, The F1 Show

At the time of writing, I am working on designs for international and U.K. based broadcasters.

In addition to being a registered architect, I am also a Fellow of the Society of Architectural Illustration.
